Privacy

When you place an order you will need to set up an account which may then be used for subsequent orders. We collect the following information from you for the purposes of processing your order: Name; Postal address; Email address; Telephone number; Order history. The legal basis for collection and processing of this data is the fulfilment of a contract between you and us.

Any information that you provide in order to open an account will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to any other party, except to Paypal as part of the order fulfilment process. In addition, postal address details are necessarily shared with the Royal Mail and/or international postal services to enable your order to be delivered to you. We may also disclose your personal data to law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, if we are under a duty do so in order to comply with a legal obligation.

You will not be contacted except in connection with your order unless you choose to check the 'Newsletter' box in your account details. In this case we may contact you occasionally by email, and you can choose to unsubscribe from this service at any time by contacting us by telephone or email or by updating your preferences by logging into your account.

We do not see or hold your debit or credit card details as these are dealt with securely on our behalf by Paypal. If you are unhappy using Paypal's online payment service please do not use the online shopping basket, please email or telephone us with your order, and payment by cheque can be arranged (UK customers only). In this case your order will not be shipped until your cheque has cleared.

Your Rights

You have several rights under the data privacy legislation. This includes, under certain circumstances, the right to:

Retention of data

If you do not access your account and/or make a purchase for 7 years your data will be deleted. You have the right to request your data to be deleted at any time as above.

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use this website.

All the items offered for sale at Life of Riley Miniatures are sold as collectors items for adults, they are not toys and are not suitable for children.

All items are individually handmade, therefore there may be slight variations from the photographs shown.

We endeavour, but do not guarantee, to ship your order within 3 working days. Please contact us for a delivery timescale BEFORE placing an order if you are in a hurry for your goods. Please see the Shipping and Returns page for more information on our shipping and returns policy.

Placing an order does not constitute a binding contract with us to provide the goods. In the event of our being unable to fulfil the order, we reserve the right to cancel it completely and provide a full refund.

VAT is not applicable to the prices shown.
